An instrument for measuring vibration
Eddy current sensors are often used in vibration detection instruments.

Principle of eddy current sensor: According to Faraday electromagnetic induction principle, when a bulk metal conductor is placed in a changing magnetic field or moves in the magnetic field to cut magnetic lines, it has nothing to do with whether the metal is a bulk or not. When cutting a constant magnetic field, there is no eddy current, and a vortex-like induced current will be generated in the conductor. This current is called eddy current, and the above phenomenon is called eddy current effect. Sensors based on eddy current effect are called eddy current sensors.

Extended data:

Typical application of eddy current sensor

Eddy current sensor system is widely used in electric power, petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy and other industries because of its advantages. It is used for on-line measurement and safety protection of shaft radial vibration, axial displacement, phase detector, shaft speed, differential expansion, eccentricity and oil film thickness of large rotating machinery such as steam turbine, water turbine, generator, blower, compressor and gear box, as well as rotor dynamics research and part size inspection.
