On the evenings of March 10 and March 1 1, the lotus prize dance drama and the national excellent dance drama "Pomegranate bloom" were staged in Sichuan Grand Theatre, telling a legendary story about the "Flower Drum Lantern" on the Huaihe River.

As the first dance drama with the theme of the cultural inheritance of Huagudeng, Pomegranate bloom was created and directed by Anhui Huagudeng Song and Dance Theatre, with Yang Wei as the general director and screenwriter, Liu Tong as the composer, Liu Kedong as the director and Yan Hanyi, He Jiang, Huang and Ding as the leading roles, telling the story of two generations of Huagudeng.

The achievements of rural construction in the new era inspired his son, who chose to come back and inherit his father's mantle. The drama combines folk and modern creative techniques, closely revolves around the emotional trajectory of folk artists of Flower Drum Lantern, and expresses the inheritance of folk art of Flower Drum Lantern.

Cigarette box dance is a dance with "cigarette box" as props. A cigarette case is a round box made of bamboo and wood, which is used to hold tobacco. When dancing, hold the upper and lower petals in your hands and play them regularly with your fingers. It is not only a part of the dance, but also accompanied by its sweet and rhythmic sound.

Because dancing must have "four strings" as the main accompaniment instrument, it used to be called "jumping strings" by the people. Because the cigarette case has become an important prop in "Tiaoxian" and made it full of unique artistic personality, people generally call it cigarette box dance.

Shiping Yi people's cigarette box dance, also known as jumping strings and ridging, is a mass folk dance of Ni Su Po, a branch of Yi people in Yunnan. The Yi inhabited areas distributed in Gejiu, Shiping, Jianshui, Mengzi, Kaiyuan, Tonghai, Yuanjiang and other places in southern Yunnan matured in the Yuan and Ming Dynasties and reached its peak in the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.

When dancing, it is named because each person dances with a cigarette case made of bamboo or kapok locust in each hand. Yi people also call cigarette box dance string jump, musical jump and three-step string jump. Yi people like cigarette box dance very much, and both children and the elderly like dancing.

People say that your feet itch when you hear the four strings ring. On May 20th, 2006, Yi people's cigarette box dance was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
