A specialty of France
France has the best late combat arms-armored cavalry, and the best mass-produced villagers-hunters. This makes it easier for France to enter the next era by relying on the villagers' defense ability and collection advantages, and once it enters the next era, France will be closer to the breastplate two-brush mode of the ultimate firepower in Imperial Age 3.
Generally speaking, France's advantage lies in the improvement of the armored cavalry's ability after the upgrade era and the better defense guarantee during the upgrade era. Using these two points, France can occupy an absolute advantage in the Treaty Bureau or adopt a long-term strategy in the General Administration.
France's weakness
France's weakness is that compared with countries with rapid economic development, the strategic preparation time is too long and the economic development capacity is insufficient. This shortcoming is that although the hunter has good collection ability, it takes a long time to train.
This economic development capacity is only about 5% more than that of the most common countries. France, on the other hand, has no special skills in other economic aspects, and this economy with weak early development ability cannot effectively support the middle and early wars. However, once you start training armored cavalry, you may not be able to get the support of strengthening science and technology immediately, which makes it impossible for the French model to enter the combat state quickly.
French tactics
French tactics are very diverse, and different opponents will adopt different strategies. But usually France will choose to enter the fortress era quickly, and then adopt the strategy of economic development or direct attack. In the colonial era, there were no good arms to deal with most powerful countries, so we had to play like this.
The distribution above the arms is relatively simple, usually musketeers escort artillery with a small number of skirmishers and armored cavalry. However, the probability of France choosing FF is actually not high. Usually, it will choose the more risky and economical SFF, build a market with four hunter cards as the head, and train melee cavalry.
Harass the other side or meet an opponent who is not easy to harass, and directly enter the fortress era. Meeting different countries will vary from person to person. When dealing with Japan, we should constantly suppress the wild shrine, upgrade the fortress era at an appropriate time, and start the SFF with cavalry harassment when dealing with Britain and the Netherlands.
However, when dealing with hasty or pre-riot countries, France will take a more timid and escalating approach. For example, to deal with the Sioux, 8 crossbows and muskets are needed for defense before entering the fortress era, while to deal with Russia and Iroquois, cavalry and soldiers are needed for defense.
