What does hunger mean?
Hunger and thirst means that people have such a strong demand for food and water that they have to look for and pursue it even without food and water. Hunger and thirst are usually due to the instinct of human survival. When the body needs energy and water, we feel hungry and thirsty, which forces us to look for food and water.

Eating when you are hungry and drinking when you are thirsty is not only a physical need, but also a spiritual thing. For example, when a person is pursuing something he likes very much, the sense of urgency and uncontrollable desire will make him feel hungry, because he needs to get satisfaction through that thing.

Hungry food and thirsty drinks can also describe a person's desire for an emotion. For example, when we fall in love with someone or long for something, we will show a strong desire and pursuit. We will pursue it like hunger and thirst until we get what we want.
