Moral health, mental health, behavioral health, diet health and physical health.
The above five kinds of health are the five cornerstones of balanced health. Only when these five health factors achieve overall balance, harmony and unity can people achieve real physical and mental health.
1. Moral health
Moral health is the first element of balanced health, and health should be "based on morality". "Tao" not only refers to certain laws, rules and norms that people should follow in dealing with people in natural and social life, but also refers to the highest criterion of social and political life and being a man. "Virtue" refers to a person's moral quality and ideological sentiment. It can be said that morality is the general name of all the laws of nature, society, family and life that human beings should abide by. Violating these laws will harm people's physical and mental health.
The core of moral health is kindness.
Benevolence "is specifically understood from the following ten aspects.
First, it is manifested in self-discipline, self-respect and self-love, and caring for health;
Second, it is filial piety in the relationship with parents;
Third, the relationship between husband and wife is mutual love;
Fourth, it is manifested in treating children strictly and lovingly;
Fifth, the relationship between brothers and sisters is mutual respect and love;
Sixth, be humble and friendly in the relationship with others;
Seventh, what we should cherish and save;
Eighth, be dedicated and work hard at work;
Nine is loyalty and patriotism to the country and the nation, with national self-esteem.
Ten is to conform to nature, be kind to everything and cherish life.
"Goodness" is the essence of traditional morality and the core of moral health. People who have the virtue of "kindness" are naturally balanced in body and mind, can live in harmony with nature, society and others, regard others as relatives, and enjoy being kind to others.
2. Mental health:
Mental health is the concrete manifestation of moral health at the psychological level and the foundation of physical and mental health.
Modern people often face many troubles, such as excessive study and work pressure, fierce social competition, emotional and family changes, economic tension, complex and changeable interpersonal relationships, lack of spiritual care, network dependence, spiritual emptiness and so on, which often lead to serious psychological imbalance and lead to many diseases. There are also various desires that affect people's mental health. The three social problems of "prostitution, gambling and drugs" are the most harmful to modern people's health. "Selflessness" and "benefiting others" can eliminate the harm of various desires and bad emotions to people's body and mind, and are the core of mental health. "Selfishness" is the bane of all diseases, while "selfless people" are the good medicine to cure mental diseases and the source of health and happiness.
3. Behavioral health:
Behavioral health must be based on moral health, which must be put into practice and unified with good behavior habits in order to truly achieve balanced health. The core of behavioral health is "harmony", that is, the unity of human morality, psychology, behavior and physiology, and the adaptation of human to society and natural environment.
4. Healthy eating:
People who eat and drink are the lifeblood of people. The theory of balanced health advocates reasonable dietary structure and scientific dietary habits, with special emphasis on the principle of "natural and balanced" diet.
"Nature" refers to natural diet: in the process of evolution and reproduction for millions of years, human beings have obtained nutrition from natural foods, mainly plant foods. Natural plant food, with comprehensive and balanced nutrition, is most suitable for human body to absorb and utilize without any toxic or side effects. Therefore, the diet should return to nature, mainly based on natural plant foods.
5. Good health:
Physical health refers to a good state of normal physiological function, perfect morphological structure, vigorous energy and physical strength, and full of vitality. Modern medicine has always regarded physical health as the first criterion to distinguish disease from health.
According to the theory of balanced health, the core of physical health is "Zang-fu balance", which refers to the best physiological steady state in which life substances, life energy and life information are constantly changing in the five-zang system centered on the five-zang organs of the human body. Only when the zang-fu organs are in a state of harmony and balance, the innate "self-healing ability" of the human body can fully play its role, maintain health and even cure diseases without treatment.
