The choice of farm is the basis of raising pigs. Before pollution-free pig breeding, farms should be selected reasonably, and farms should be far away from possible pollution sources such as garbage dumps, slaughterhouses, chemical plants and hospitals to prevent environmental pollutants from affecting the health of pigs. Farmland should also be able to obtain clean and pollution-free water sources conveniently and stably to ensure the reliability of drinking water supply, but it should be far away from water sources to avoid pollution caused by aquaculture sewage. When selecting the site of a conditional farm, we should consider the convenience of obtaining pasture and green feed, and be as close as possible to natural pastures or forest areas. The area where the farm is located should be flat and open, with good ventilation conditions, and large areas of wasteland are most suitable for farm construction. In addition, it is necessary to reasonably coordinate the area and density of farms to meet the requirements of breeding efficiency, and at the same time ensure that the spatial layout of farms is reasonable and pigs have enough room for activities, which will play a positive role in improving the physique and pork quality of pigs and reducing the incidence and infection rate of epidemics.
In aquaculture management, it is necessary to carry out strict cleaning and disinfection of the aquaculture environment, regular cleaning, thorough disinfection and sterilization, leaving no dead ends and eliminating the living conditions in the bacterial and viral environment. Harmless technical measures should be taken to treat pig manure, and dry manure cleaning technology can be used instead of traditional water washing method to reduce water waste, reduce manure pollution and facilitate the recycling of manure. After being recycled, the manure is fermented and composted intensively and used as an organic fertilizer for fertilizing crops and pastures. Biogas pool technology can also be used to produce biogas by fermenting organic wastes such as feces. Biogas, as a clean energy source, can be used for power generation and outdoor heating, and also helps to reduce pollutant emissions. To realize pollution-free pig breeding, we should start with the establishment of pollution-free farms and follow the corresponding construction standards and norms. Ensure that highland and dry place are selected as the construction site, and drainage facilities and epidemic prevention control are well done to ensure the geographical convenience of drainage and epidemic prevention. At the same time, pollution-free farms should not be built near slaughter and processing plants or chemical plants, and should be far away from crowded areas or traffic arteries. Outside the pig farm, epidemic prevention ditches should be excavated and isolated green belts should be built.
The internal layout of the farm should be planned, the production area should be planned in the upwind direction, and the sewage or sick pig treatment area should be set in the downwind direction. Clean roads and dirty roads on farms should be built independently to avoid crossing. Ensure the normal operation of drinking water, sewage and feces treatment facilities, and install automatic drinking water nozzles on drinking water equipment. A pig playground of not less than 7 square meters should be set up. Piglets are an important basis for pollution-free pig raising, so hybrid pigs should be selected, because hybrid pigs will retain the dominant genes of multiple parents, have strong disease resistance and can improve the yield and quality of pigs. At the same time, hybrid piglets have low requirements on feeding and feeding management, which can effectively reduce the cost of pollution-free breeding. When buying piglets, we should focus on observing their eating situation and mental state, and understand their physical characteristics to avoid buying sick pigs and affecting the feeding effect. At the same time, farmers should strengthen their understanding of the source of piglets, buy piglets from reputable farmers, and try to introduce piglets from regular pig farms.
