Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has five campuses, namely: Twelve Bridges Campus, Gaoxin West Campus, Wenjiang Campus, Rennan Campus and Wangjiaguai Campus. Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has five campuses: Wenjiang Campus, Shiqiao Campus, High-tech Zone Campus, Rennan Campus and Wangjiaguai Campus. Gaoxin Campus is a freshman and will move to other campuses in the future.
But some undergraduate freshmen and sophomores are in Wenjiang campus, such as School of Pharmacy, School of Management, School of Humanities and School of Foreign Languages. Basic medical college, pharmaceutical college, nursing college, physical education college, translation (including Chinese translation), Tibetan medicine, nursing, etc.
Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, formerly known as Chengdu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was founded in 1956. It is one of the earliest four institutions of higher learning of traditional Chinese medicine in China, which was established with the approval of the State Council under the cordial care of Zhou Enlai and other first-generation leading collectives of the Party and the country. The school covers an area of 1800 mu, with 16 colleges and 34 undergraduate majors, with 22,000 full-time students, including more than 2,000 graduate students.
