How to Learn Tai Ji Chuan's Formula 24 to Simplify Tai Ji Chuan
Hello,

When I was in college, I learned the simplified 24-style Tai Ji Chuan, and I became interested in Taiji through my study.

Simplifying Tai Ji Chuan's moves is relatively simple, and I learned a little at that time. Before the college physical education teacher taught us, it was also at the level of cramming. I practiced for a semester and finally passed the exam. In retrospect, I didn't learn anything real. But I got a preliminary understanding of Tai Ji Chuan.

Later, after taking part in the work, I had the opportunity to get in touch with the master who practiced traditional Tai Ji Chuan and began to formally learn traditional Taiji. Now I have learned a set of 85-style Tai Ji Chuan. By comparison, I found that there is a great difference between the two. The connotation of Taiji is very rich, and simplifying Tai Ji Chuan is really quite "simplified".

It is suggested that if you have the energy and conditions, it is advisable to learn some traditional Tai Ji Chuan, both in terms of health and culture.

If you want to ask Tai Ji Chuan how to practice, my personal experience is:

In order to play Tai Ji Chuan well, it is very important to practice simplex well, besides being skilled in routines and standardized in movements.

First, single pile practice

The shelf, that is, the shelf structure that is physically correct, should be corrected on the simplex. A set of Tai Ji Chuan, each single type can be disassembled to stand a static pile.

For example, after the crane hangs its wings, it gradually standardizes its body shape, first makes its external movements conform to the boxing frame, and then further checks itself against the connotation requirements such as virtual collar jacking, sinking shoulders and elbows, pulling the chest and back, and sinking air. There are some small ways to help correct it, such as: the left elbow and right knee are closed, and the right elbow and left knee are closed. By adjusting the center of gravity of the body, impartiality is achieved. The whole body is full of strength and connotation, forming eight supports.

Second, stunt exercises

You can choose several important boxing moves and concentrate on practicing. First, you should be familiar with them, and then you should be full of strength and coherence. For example, one-way knee hop gait, or oblique flight, or wild horse with mane, or inverted monkey, or cloud hand can all be used for single practice.

Take knee jump as an example: knee jump left and right, and keep practicing. Please note: here, whether it is' breaking force' is the test standard. That is to say, you can't lose eight-sided support and strength, whether your legs move separately or your arms are curved.

If you practice for the sake of playing beautifully, then you must change the bow horse into a foot, and finally form a big bow horse, straight and full. If you practice for the requirements of martial arts, then you have made progress (rolling back to a monkey means going backwards). Never tie a dead horse or lunge to the same place as boxing. This requires the crotch to have strength.

Third, the principle of gradual progress.

We should follow the principle of gradual progress, focus on something, and not be greedy for perfection.

Requirements and standards can be gradually increased. For example, beginners can focus on a certain content in boxing practice, such as first experiencing shoulder sinking and elbow lowering, consolidating this requirement in all exercises, and then adding other training content. You can't be quick and quick, you have to do everything, and you can't do anything as a result.

A little personal experience, limited level, for reference only.
