Brief introduction of Liuzhou
Liuzhou, referred to as "Liu" for short, is the largest industrial city in Guangxi, a national second-class city, one of the five largest automobile cities in China, an industrial town in southwest China, a comprehensive transportation hub and a trade and logistics center. It is the only city in China with four major automobile groups: FAW, Dongfeng, SAIC and China National Heavy Duty Truck.

The inland of China is an important channel leading to ASEAN, a two-way product processing and trade base and logistics transit base city with ASEAN, a hub city of the southwest sea passage, an important node of the "Belt and Road" organic connection portal, and a leading city and a core city of the Xijiang Economic Belt in the strategy of western development.

Liuzhou is the largest industrial base in Guangxi, and its total industrial output value accounts for about 1/5 of Guangxi. At the same time, it is also known as the "commercial port in central Guangxi", which is a railway hub and regional comprehensive transportation hub connecting southwest and central and southern regions, forming a modern transportation network integrating land, sea and air.

Extended data:

The geographical environment of Liuzhou:

1, landform

Liuzhou is flat and slightly undulating, with an altitude of 85 to 105 meters, surrounded by mountains on three sides, and has typical karst landform characteristics. Due to the influence of the urban area where Liujiang River flows and the climate, lithology and structure, a natural basin with overlapping river terrace landform and karst landform has been formed.

2. Climate

Liuzhou, located in the north-central part of Guangxi, has a subtropical monsoon climate. The main atmospheric circulation affecting Liuzhou is monsoon circulation, with southerly winds prevailing in summer, high temperature, high humidity and rainy days, northerly winds prevailing in winter, cold and dry, and little rain. Summer is long and winter is short, with the same season of rain and heat. There are abundant climatic resources of light, temperature and water, but there are great regional differences, and the climatic characteristics of mountainous areas in northern counties are obvious.

3. Hydrology

In 2007, Liujiang, a 444.4-kilometer administrative region of Liuzhou City, had a river length of 372.4 kilometers and a compliance rate of 83.8%. Two water supply sources in Liuzhou city were monitored and evaluated, one of which reached excellent grade and the other was general grade. Continue to maintain the national Class III water quality standard for surface water.
