How to plant lily seedlings
Lily usually has bulbs. Choose bulbs with full head, proper size, fullness and health.

Peel off the seed balls, cut off the old roots and rotten roots, soak them in carbendazim solution for disinfection and sterilization, and then take them out to dry.

Sandy loam with rich humus, deep and loose soil layer and good drainage is the best soil. Lily bulbs are planted in flowerpots, covered with soil and compacted, and watered for the second time after planting to keep the soil moist and promote rooting and growth.

When planting lilies, the north should choose a sunny place to avoid the wind, and the south can plant them in a slightly shady place. The suitable planting time is August-September. Apply sufficient base fertilizer one month before planting and dig deep into the soil. Compost and plant ash can be used as base fertilizer.
