Traditional Chinese medicine health care and stomach nourishing
The theory of zang-xiang in TCM emphasizes that the spleen has the physiological functions of transporting, clearing and regulating blood, and the stomach has the physiological function of receiving and decomposing Shui Gu. Obviously, although the spleen and stomach mentioned in traditional Chinese medicine involve multiple systems, it is mainly related to the digestion and absorption function of the human body. Huangdi Neijing said, "The spleen and stomach are the officials of the granary, and the five flavors express themselves". If the human body is compared to a country, the spleen and stomach are the officials in charge of the grain depot, providing endless material support for the life activities of other viscera and being the "source of qi and blood biochemistry". Traditional Chinese medicine calls the spleen and stomach "the foundation of the day after tomorrow", because after birth, people rely on the spleen and stomach to transport Shui Gu and turn food into nutrients, thus maintaining life activities.

In terms of health care, people with congenital deficiency can improve their physique and prolong their life by tonifying the spleen and stomach; Congenitally strong, if the spleen and stomach lack nutrition, they will also get sick and shorten their life span. In the treatment of diseases, spleen and stomach are closely related to other viscera. No matter which viscera is affected by evil, or internal injury caused by strain, it will hurt the spleen and stomach for a long time, affect appetite, and lead to insufficient blood and biochemistry. Therefore, in the treatment of diseases, most diseases of viscera can be nourished by regulating the spleen and stomach, strengthening the body resistance and eliminating evil spirits. For critically ill patients, there is even a saying that "there is stomach gas that leads to life, and there is no stomach gas that leads to death". The treatment of diseases focuses on regulating the spleen and stomach, which is an important embodiment of Chinese medicine's treatment of diseases.

In the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the spleen and stomach are located in the middle jiao, which is the hub of the whole body qi. Spleen governs ascending clear, and stomach governs descending turbid. When your temper sinks, you can't get up, and your internal organs can't get up. Symptoms are mostly dizziness, bloating, sallow complexion, and filtering after eating less. Therefore, it is advisable to strengthen the spleen and clear away heat. Diseases such as gastroptosis, proctoptosis and female uterine prolapse are mainly treated by this method. Stomach disharmony leads to health, which is mainly manifested as bullying, hiccup, vomiting, fever and other symptoms. Treatment should properly regulate the stomach and reduce adverse reactions. The spleen and stomach are healthy and normal, and the whole body can be coordinated. Make sure you are full of energy. Therefore, Chinese medicine has the saying that "the method of treating the spleen and stomach is not good at ascending and descending".

There is a folk proverb that "people are iron rice and steel" and "the stomach feeds people before middle age and the stomach feeds people after middle age". Diet recuperation is not only the key to maintaining the spleen and stomach, but also closely related to the whole body health. According to the author's clinical observation for many years, although the material living standard has improved and the dietary resources are abundant, the phenomenon of damaging the function of the spleen and stomach and destroying the acquired foundation is more serious than that in the era of lack of food. Some people overeat and eat too much for a long time, leading to diseases such as overnutrition and obesity. On the other hand, some people adopt a non-medical diet because of the so-called "losing weight", which leads to nutritional deficiency, emaciated body, deficiency of qi and blood, infirmity and even amenorrhea in young women. Many young people often stay up late, get up in a hurry the next morning and have no time to eat breakfast. Over time, it will inevitably lead to cholestasis and gastrointestinal dysfunction. Recently, "Pigu" has become popular again. Many people are not fully prepared, and suddenly they don't eat for many days, which leads to the lack of fine substances in the human body and the exhaustion of energy sources. These actions are not so much health preservation as "life-threatening". Some people also lack the source of qi and blood biochemistry because of inappropriate and unscientific taboos; Especially after surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, tumor patients do not supplement nutrition in time and reasonably, which not only affects the quality of life, but also is not conducive to rehabilitation after dry illness.
