1, liver depression and spleen deficiency type
Main symptoms: sentimentality, pessimism, world-weariness, emotional instability, sighing, fullness in both sides, abdominal distension and diarrhea, lassitude and lethargy, reddish tongue, thin and white fur, and thready pulse.
2. Qi stagnation and blood stasis type
Main symptoms: depression, attempted suicide, irritability, slow thinking and association, slow exercise, dull complexion, hypochondriac pain and female amenorrhea. The tongue is dark purple or petechiae, with white fur and heavy pulse.
3. Deficiency of both heart and spleen
Main symptoms: insomnia, forgetfulness, listlessness, palpitation, fear, sadness, crying, fatigue, pale or sallow complexion, less abdominal distension, loose stool, pale tongue with white fur and thready pulse.
4, spleen and kidney yang deficiency type
Main symptoms: listlessness, depression, sedentary, upset and frightened, palpitation and insomnia, pale complexion, thin stool, female leucorrhea, light and fat tongue, teeth marks on the edge, white fur and heavy and thin pulse.
5. Yin deficiency and fire excess type
Main symptoms: restlessness, irritability, palpitation and insomnia, dreaminess, fever of five senses, dry mouth and throat, red tongue with little coating, and rapid pulse.
How does Chinese medicine regulate depression?
1. For patients with depression due to liver depression and kidney deficiency, soothing the liver to relieve depression and tonifying the kidney are the traditional Chinese medicine treatments, and Xiaoyao Powder combined with Liuwei Dihuang Decoction can be added to the prescription.
