The Great Nirvana Sutra Volume 15

Is it the achievement of man's evil deeds in this world, or is it because of greed and ignorance, which is the reward of hard work in hell? Is a self-cultivation, family, mind, wisdom, easily accepted in this world, not to fall into hell.

What industries can be reported now? Repentance exposes all sins, and even more afraid to do it after regret, ashamed to realize and support the three treasures, and often blames himself for it. This is because people are good deeds, have not fallen into hell, and have been rewarded in this world. The so-called headache, eye pain, abdominal pain, backache, death, scolding, scolding, flogging, closing the door, hunger and hardship are all so lightly paid in this world.

What is a cloud? The Mahasa Bodhisattva sees that people can't cultivate themselves, be alert to wisdom, and create less bad karma. This karma should be reported now. That is, people are less evil, can't repent, don't blame themselves, are not ashamed, and are fearless. That is, if the industry grows, there will be rewards in hell. This is called seeing.

Diamond Sutra

Once again, sublime! Good men and good women, reciting this sutra, if you despise it, it is a sin in previous lives. You should fall into evil ways, so that people in this life can despise it, and the sins in previous lives can be eliminated, and you will be rewarded with three virtues and three bodhis.

Ananda asked Buddhist scriptures for good or ill luck.

Ananda Baifo said: There are rich and harmonious people, and there are also disharmonious people. Why are clouds different? May everything be said in heaven.

Buddha tells Ananda: Some people worship Buddha and are warned by their teachers. Do they believe in committing crimes? Diligent pursuit, do not lose. The image is vivid, and you worship at night. Respectfully light, the net is safe. If you don't break the ban, you will never get tired of fasting. The heart is full of joy and often supported by the gods. The harmony you want is doubled, which is respected by all dragons, gods and ghosts. You will get this word in the future. He is a good man and a good woman, and a disciple of the true Buddha.

Buddha follows the people. Not worth being a good teacher. There is no teaching. This is just a warning name. I don't believe it. I don't believe it when I look at it. Hesitate. There is no such thing as politeness. Do not burn incense, just worship. Always suspicious. Scold when you are angry. A bad mouth envies a good man. Not six days. Kill the funny hand. Disrespect for Buddhist scriptures. Dressed in rags. Or look at the dirty place in my wife's bed. Or hang it on the wall. No respect for the seat. Just like any book in the world. If you get sick. Doubt or not. Call the wizard. Interpretation of divination. Sacrifice evil spirits in temples. God is far away. Without good care. Demons are advancing the evil ghost village day by day. Let it rot. The direction is not harmonious. Or away from path of evil. So are the sinners in this world. Non-Buddhist disciples. When he died, he was beaten and plundered in the mud plow. Because of his sin. Now self-rotting. Later, I suffered again. Death is both interesting and evil. It hurts when you turn around. That's so cool. All because of evil deeds. Fools are blind. Don't think about the reason for staying. Spiritual punishment has never been. It is said that talking about Buddha is a decline.

This is a passage from Janza's The Cause of Good and Evil. Many times people will ask us, and even we will ask ourselves. The benefits of Buddhism are always not so obvious here. There are many practical benefits described in the classics, but all kinds of food and clothing, Yong 'an home, death first and then fast, a night of happiness and so on. What is described in the Bodhisattva's Wish seems not obvious. For example, some fellow initiates said that after chanting, they still had nightmares, financial difficulties or family discord. Wait a minute. problem

Some people say that these problems are because we are not good men and women. This is not unreasonable, but also the teachings of the Buddha. Here is another question.

That's what the classic says: messy.

If it's a mess, then no matter what good deeds you practice, you won't get deep benefits. This sentence is easy to understand and there is no ambiguity. We need to find out what it means to be messy.

In front of the classics, we saw that the bodhisattva like this said: We should always be everywhere. Read my name often. If you have a good heart and good roots, you will reap great benefits.

In this way, we know that clutter is the antonym of undivided attention. If you can't concentrate on it, it is chaos, and chaos is dirty.

There are many sayings in the classics, such as the difference between one thought and another, the name of one thought and the Buddha of one thought. It seems that this condition is a necessary condition for obtaining great benefits from Buddhism.

Then we need to know what one heart is. This gives a very clear answer in the classics: wholeheartedly. The so-called department can't think. We don't want to be chaotic, and what we remember is not chaotic. Soon, here and there. The heart stops, you can't be confused, not only not confused, but also clear. This is my heart. Not scattered or dizzy. This is a heart.

There are many different nouns in this one-hearted classic, such as mindfulness and sincerity. The meaning is similar. It all means concentration. This concentration doesn't mean anything special. It doesn't mean that I specialize in what I read, and I don't read anything else. This is a wrong understanding. Concentration means concentration and undivided attention. For example, "always concentrate on thinking" is to stick to memory, not to remember anything specifically.

When the concept is clear, we will know what we are trying to achieve. Because the practice of body, language and mind in the classics, without this heart, you will not get great benefits.

If you want to have realistic and obvious benefits, you must have one heart besides ten good deeds. Otherwise, there may be small blessings and virtues. Once the karma is huge and the obstacles are deep, it cannot be changed.

This is also the source of doubts that we often encounter.

"Zhancha Good and Evil Cause" says: Now, there are things like happiness, happiness and misfortune. Fate is the same. When fate runs out, it will die. Industry is free. The result is the same for each other. Not bad. The corresponding is not bad.

We know that fate is the same, but it will be destroyed. In other words, all kinds of situations we encounter are gathered by various conditions. If these conditions are not met, there will be no result.

So how do these conditions combine? We see the explanation behind: the industry is free.

This is a very important sentence. How our karma works, follows our hearts, is regulated by our hearts, and is commanded by our hearts.

Therefore, if you want to improve the status quo and master the tricks, you must know this. From this point of view, you will get twice the result with half the effort, or even lose everything.

Then let's take a look at what the Buddha said about the accumulation of karma:

There are four situations of "karma difference":

If you don't accept it, you will return to work. If there are sentient beings. Body, mouth, heart, etc. Create all kinds of bad karma. It's scary to make. Be ashamed to stay away. Deep remorse. Do not rebuild. This is a masterpiece, not a collection.

Some people do evil things, but they don't get together and have no result, because after doing evil things, they are afraid of their actions and regret them very much. He thinks this is wrong, and he will never do such a bad thing again. In this case, although bad karma has been created, it will not bear fruit.

Get back to business if you don't do it. If there are sentient beings. Never do homework. Because of nausea. Persuade people to do evil. This is a collection of names.

Some people don't create bad karma themselves, but they will gather bad karma and get what they deserve. Such people, although not pretending to be themselves, are pretending to be disgusting and convincing others. Such behavior, even if it does not create bad karma, there are still bad karma gathering. There will be consequences.

Reemployment is also a collection. If there are sentient beings. It's already done. No regrets. And multiple creation. Also advise others. It is also a collection of names.

Then even if you do evil deeds, you will not repent, continue to persist, and even convince others. This situation is that you create bad karma, get together, and bad karma will come soon.

If you have another job, you will quit. If there are sentient beings. Self-employed. Or teach him. No record, etc. This is not a collection of names.

Then if you don't do an act, you don't teach others to do bad karma, or you don't remember bad karma (that is, bad karma), you don't do anything.

These four situations clearly tell you the kind of karma we run. At the same time, it also points out the way we should change the cause and effect.

We have all made bad karma in the past, so what should we do if we hope it doesn't pay off?

That is: it is terrible to make it. Be ashamed to stay away. Deep remorse. No reconstruction

That's right. In this way, you can gradually improve your situation. What kind of energy and financial resources we need to pay is not involved here, but the change of mentality. Do it.

Then this is also a way for us to change the cause and effect. If karma changes our minds at will, we can change the direction of karma accumulation.

In the "Scold Meaning Classic", I said: Be a hundred Buddhist temples. Might as well live alone. Live ten ways, live on earth. It's best to keep it for one day. People should be kind. Its benefits are immeasurable.

What merits do you do, build temples, even save people and set them free? What are you worse than? Keep a day, keep your sincerity, and what comes without malice is more valuable and rewarding.

This further explains what we call the trick of changing cause and effect, focusing on your mind and adjusting your mind. Grasping this is grasping the trick.

Otherwise, if you release charity every day and build a temple for charity, it may not be that this karma will soon gather and become a result. That is, there may be a phenomenon of doing things for free.

This is something that many Buddhist disciples have been puzzled for a long time. I have done so many good deeds, donated so much money, and set them free as much as possible. Why is life not good now? This is also called "from ear to ear"! That's the reason.

Why not collect it and do it? Because our minds have not been properly adjusted, our usual ideas have too many defects, such as jealousy, resentment, arrogance, Jaken and so on. What will these gather? Gather bad karma.

Even if you do a lot of good deeds, but the good deeds are not gathered together, the result is not formed or formed slowly, and even later, it will not be reflected in your life.

Everyone must pay attention to this. Many people don't pay attention to this point, but think that their good deeds are not rewarded because they don't understand the calculation of cause and effect.
