Is there a Taoist in Laojunshan Taoist Temple in Nanchong?
some

Laojunshan is located in the north of Luxi Town, Shunqing District, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, about 20 kilometers away from Nanchong city center. According to legend, during the Three Kingdoms period, Wang Ping, a general of Shu, was ordered by Zhuge Liang to lead an army south from Langzhong, and it was stormy all the way. Just as the soldiers were exhausted, they walked to a mountain, and suddenly the top of the mountain was golden, and the wind and rain stopped abruptly. Wang Ping ordered the whole army to camp, and dreamed that Laojun ascended the throne at night, hence the name Laojun Mountain.

The terrain of Laojun Mountain is peculiar, like a dragon winding from left to right, surrounded by two phases, forming a natural Tai Chi map. There is Wanfuqiao Reservoir in front of the mountain, which makes the mountains and rivers set each other off and add infinite charm.

Laojunshan Taoist Temple was founded in the 10th year of Kaiyuan in Tang Dynasty (AD 722), with a history of 1200 years.

Not only did it attract many believers from northern Sichuan to worship, but leaders of past dynasties, such as Xie Ziran, Zhang Sanfeng and Qiu Changchun, all preached here. In the long river of vicissitudes, the Taoist temple of Laojunshan was damaged three times. 1993, Taoist priests led believers from all directions to donate money and materials, and built the Laojun Hall, Sanqing Hall, Cihang Hall, Lingzu Hall, Huangsanting Hall, etc. , forming a magnificent building complex.
