Mozi thinks:

1, love without attacking: the so-called universal love contains the meaning of equality and fraternity. Mozi asked the monarch, father and son, and brothers to love each other on the basis of equality.

He believes that rulers enjoy music, which takes up the time of governing the country, while ordinary people enjoy music, which also takes up the time of labor and production, wastes resources, hinders the progress of the world, and denies the regulatory role of music on people. Therefore, music should be abolished.
