Mozi (unknown year of birth and death) was named Zhai. After Gu, the end of Taizong, later changed to Mohs, Song people, called Teng Guo (now Tengzhou, Shandong Province), as a doctor in the Song Dynasty. Founder of Mohism, a famous thinker, educator, scientist and strategist.

Mozi is the only philosopher born as a farmer in the history of China. Mozi founded Mohism, which had a great influence in the pre-Qin period, and was called "one of the best" with Confucianism. He put forward the viewpoints of "universal love", "non-aggression", "Shang Xian", "Shang Tong", "ambition", "ghost", "death", "unhappiness" and "frugality".

Mozi thinks:

1, love without attacking: the so-called universal love contains the meaning of equality and fraternity. Mozi asked the monarch, father and son, and brothers to love each other on the basis of equality.

2. Ghosts and gods in Tian Zhiming: Mozi not only believes in ghosts and gods, but especially thinks that they will reward the good and punish the evil for human monarchs or nobles.

3. Shangxian County, Shang Tong. Shang Tong asked the people and the Emperor to keep pace, unite as one, and practice just politics. Sages include those who choose sages as officials and those who choose sages as emperors.

4. Save money and bury. Thrift is a point that Mohist school emphasizes very much. They criticized the extravagance and waste of monarchs and nobles, especially against the custom of long funeral and heavy burial valued by Confucianism.

5. Non-music: Mozi regards music as a part of enjoyment. He believes that rulers enjoy music, which takes up the time of governing the country, while ordinary people enjoy music, which also takes up the time of labor and production, wastes resources, hinders the progress of the world, and denies the regulatory role of music on people. Therefore, music should be abolished.

6. Immortality: Mozi advocates "the will of heaven", but he also advocates "the destiny of heaven".
