Do you need an oxygenator to raise fish?
Whether an oxygenator is needed depends on the following conditions.

1, when a lot of fish are fed in the fish tank, the density of the fish is particularly high and a lot of oxygen is needed, so the oxygenator must be on for 24 hours to ensure the normal survival of the fish in the fish tank, and the oxygenator is essential. There are fewer fish in the fish tank, and when the density of fish is not particularly high, there is no need for an aerator. Planting some aquatic plants in the water tank can produce enough oxygen.

2. According to the kind of fish raised, decide whether an oxygenator is needed. For example, arowana, a large ornamental fish, must be equipped with oxygenator because of its large size and high oxygen content. Moreover, these fish are of high value, and one fish can sell tens of thousands. If it dies because of lack of oxygen, it is a great loss to its owner. For crucian carp with strong vitality, it is not necessary to use oxygenator. They have strong viability, small size and can survive without oxygen.

3. Decide whether to buy an oxygenator according to the weather. When the temperature is sultry, the oxygen content in the water will also decrease, and fish will float their heads because of lack of oxygen. At this time, an oxygenator is needed to increase oxygen. When the weather is hot, the oxygen in the water is consumed quickly by fish and needs to be oxygenated.

4. Observe the status of the fish. If the fish often floats after being put into the fish tank, or looks listless and doesn't swim very much, it may be that there is insufficient oxygen in the water and the fish lacks oxygen. At this time, an oxygenator is needed. If the fish is still like this under the condition of sufficient oxygen, it is necessary to consider whether the fish is sick.
