The literal annotation "I am always in him", and "always" originally means "live in it" or "live forever"; So this sentence implies that the Lord Jesus is resurrected and becomes our life and life supply.
Jn. 6: 63 "It is the spirit that gives life, and the body is useless; I am talking to you about spirit and life. "
Literal note: "It is the spirit that keeps people alive." After rising from the dead, the Lord Jesus has now become a "life-giving spirit" (1 Corinthians. 15: 45); Christ, accepted by believers, gave life in spirit and provided for our lives.
"The flesh is useless", the Lord Jesus did not give us the flesh to eat, because even if we eat the flesh, it is useless to us.
"I'm talking to you about spirit and life." The word here refers to immediate, timely and subjective words (RHEMA); The words we read in the Bible are unchangeable objective words (logos), which must be transformed into our personal subjective words in order to benefit us. At this time, the word of the Lord is spirit and life.
This section shows that the Lord Jesus has now become a life-giving spirit in the resurrection, and this life-giving spirit has become concrete and true in due course; If we believers accept the word of the Lord with a correct attitude, we will be supplied by the spirit of life.
The light in the words (1) The Lord Jesus is a physical body, which is not good for us-"the body is useless"; Therefore, Christians should not hang or worship the image of the Lord Jesus.
(2) Believers should no longer know Christ according to his appearance (2 Cor. 5: 16), but know that the Lord is a spirit; Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Cor. 3: 17).
(3) Since the Lord has become the spirit of "keeping people alive", we can no longer contact and worship with the external body, but worship with the heart and honesty (see 4: 24).
(4) Only spiritual people can understand spiritual things; If one wants to know spiritual things, one should not rely on the body (see Cor. 16: 10. 2: 14 ~ 15), but you must open your heart and accept the light of god.
(5) The Lord has given us two great gifts today: one is the spirit who lives in us, and the other is the Bible outside us; Spirit is the actual content of the Bible, and the Bible is a concrete description of spirit.
(6) Reading the Bible without touching its spirit is nothing more than words and rituals; Paying attention to the spiritual body and ignoring the reading of the scriptures will tend to be extreme, not bound by the truth, and may be deceived by evil spirits.
(7) Always study the word of the Lord and keep in touch with the spirit of the Lord with a correct attitude; Spirit and language, language and spirit are applied in a balanced way, so that we can get more abundant life of the Lord.
