Many people will settle in Chongqing and Chengdu. In my opinion, I prefer Chengdu in these two cities for the following reasons. First, Chongqing has a developed heavy industry and a relatively harsh natural environment. The natural environment will be worse in areas with developed heavy industries, and the most developed in Chongqing is mining. The mining industry needs to get a lot of energy from nature, which is undoubtedly not harmful to nature. The main industry in Chengdu is electronic information, and some industries such as energy conservation and environmental protection do little harm to nature. Compared with Chongqing, Chengdu has a better natural environment. Areas with poor natural environment are not suitable for people to live in, so I will choose Chengdu between Chongqing and Chengdu. Second, the pace of life in Chengdu is relatively slow. Chongqing people and Chengdu people have completely opposite personalities. People in Chongqing do things and talk in a hot and urgent way. But Chengdu people speak slowly and do things calmly. Different personalities lead to different rhythms of life. The pace of life in Chongqing is obviously much faster than that in Chengdu. And I like a slower pace of life and a quiet life, so I choose Chengdu. Third, Chengdu's comprehensive strength is relatively strong. Although Chengdu and Chongqing have lost their economically developed cities, Chengdu, as the capital of Sichuan Province, has a superior geographical position and much more convenient transportation than Chongqing. Chengdu's tourism industry is also more developed than Chongqing's and its comprehensive strength is stronger than Chongqing's. This contrast has a lot of room for self-development in Chengdu, which is conducive to my future work and life, so I prefer Chengdu.
