Treatment of winter disease in summer, acupoint application while "hot"
In hot summer and hot season, people often feel sleepy, lose appetite, upset and fidgety. Therefore, meditation, light diet and reasonable exercise are the ways to maintain health during summer festivals. While enjoying the coolness of summer, I don't know that the hot summer season is also a good opportunity for health preservation.

There is a good way to maintain health: treat winter diseases in summer, and "treat them before they get sick"

According to the theory of "nourishing yang in spring and summer" and "harmony between man and nature" in traditional Chinese medicine, the yang rises vigorously in summer, which is also the time to relieve the "winter disease". Using the abundant yang of human body and regulating viscera with yang-warming drugs can not only help human body to store yang, but also take into account the root of yang deficiency in patients with "winter disease" and reduce recurrence, which embodies the tradition of "prevention before illness" in traditional Chinese medicine. There are various treatment methods, besides oral Chinese medicine and dietotherapy, there are external treatment methods such as acupoint application, moxibustion, scraping and cutting, among which acupoint application is widely used and has definite curative effect.

The ancient method is used today: acupoint application to treat cough and asthma

As one of the traditional Chinese medicine therapies, acupoint application belongs to the category of "natural moxibustion" and has a long history of development. It is recorded in Fifty-two Diseases Prescription that mustard seed mud is applied to Baihui point to treat snake bites. After grinding the traditional Chinese medicine into fine powder, it is applied to the corresponding acupoints on the skin surface. Through the transdermal absorption of the medicine, the stimulation of the acupoints on the body surface and the conduction of the meridians, the deficiency or decline of the viscera and yin and yang can be corrected, thus playing a therapeutic role.

Among them, the "white mustard seed coating method" in Lu's "Zhang's Yitong" first used acupoint application to treat cold asthma syndrome. Yueyang Hospital affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in many years of clinical practice, used Xin Wen to dredge meridians, selected back acupoints along meridians, combined with direct current iontophoresis technology, produced directional driving force for drug ions, and reached the diseased site through meridian conduction, playing the roles of warming yang and benefiting qi, dispelling cold and eliminating evil, promoting blood circulation and dredging collaterals. From the perspective of prevention, the number and degree of acute attacks in patients in the coming year are effectively reduced.

It has been nearly twenty years since Yueyang Hospital built its own hospital to carry out acupoint application to prevent and treat chronic respiratory diseases. Because of its combination of acupuncture and medicine, its curative effect is exact, its price is low, and it is economical and practical, and it has won the praise of the majority of patients with cough and asthma. So far, more than 200,000 patients have been treated, and the trend is increasing year by year. Studies have shown that the effective rate for patients with bronchial asthma is 96.7%. At the same time, acupoint application has also been recognized by medical colleagues. With the support of Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau, the Respiratory Department of Yueyang Hospital began to popularize the appropriate acupoint application technology at the grassroots level from 20 12, covering 240 community health service centers in 12 districts and counties, and building a cooperation platform to benefit more patients with chronic cough and asthma.

It varies from person to person: don't miss the right crowd.

Most patients with chronic cough and asthma treated by acupoint application therapy have the characteristics of yang deficiency and cold phlegm. Usually afraid of cold, hands and feet are not warm, and it is easy to get sick when changing seasons. The appropriate population is as follows:

Bronchial asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease of airway, which is involved by many cells and cell components. Patients often have recurrent symptoms, such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness and/or cough, which often occur at night or in the early morning, and may be accompanied by itchy nose, sneezing, runny nose and itchy eyes.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a disease characterized by airflow obstruction, which is related to abnormal inflammatory reaction caused by smoking, exposure to harmful gases and particulate matter. Patients often see symptoms such as chronic cough, coughing up white foam sputum, shortness of breath, chest tightness, etc., which are more frequent than repeated attacks in cold season in autumn and winter and sudden climate change.

Allergic rhinitis is a type I allergic disease, which is mainly caused by pathological changes of nasal mucosa. It is particularly sensitive to certain substances in the air (such as pollen and mites). Patients often have symptoms such as itchy nose, paroxysmal sneezing, stuffy nose and watery nose. It is easy to occur in cold weather, and may be combined with eye symptoms such as itchy eyes and conjunctival congestion, which is easy to occur in spring and autumn.

Recurrent respiratory tract infection in children refers to the increase of upper respiratory tract infection and lower respiratory tract infection in children, exceeding a certain range. Children are often complicated with low immune function, such as fatigue, shortness of breath during activities, hyperhidrosis, backache and leg pain.

Chronic cough refers to a cough with a cough time of more than 8 weeks, and there is no obvious evidence of lung disease on imaging. The causes are complicated, including cough variant asthma, upper airway cough syndrome, allergic cough, etc. More common, accompanied by increased airway responsiveness, irritating dry cough is more common.

If there is abnormal skin reaction, you need to seek medical advice in time.

During acupoint application, patients should not be greedy for cold and drink cold. The indoor air-conditioning temperature should be controlled at about 28℃, avoiding eating cold, greasy and spicy food, not swimming that day and not taking a cold bath for 4-6 hours. It is normal for the skin to be numb, itchy or slightly painful. If there are blisters, seek medical attention in time.
