Uplift pile principle
The main mechanism of uplift pile is to resist axial tension through friction between pile body and soil layer. Such as anchor piles and anti-floating piles. Piles bearing vertical uplift force are called uplift piles.

Damage classification:

Non-integral failure: the failure form of uplift piles when the number of piles under the bearing platform is small and the spacing between piles is large.

Overall failure: when a single pile is pulled out, when the pile spacing is small, the pile and soil are often pulled out and destroyed as a whole.
