Xiushui county, located in the northwest border of Jiangxi Province, was once under the jurisdiction of "Yining Prefecture" and produced Ningzhou Kung Fu Black Tea, which is one of the treasures of China Kung Fu Black Tea.

"Ning Black Tea" is famous at home and abroad for its beautiful lines, golden flowers, tall and straight seedlings, bright colors and lasting fragrance. According to the old local chronicles and Chunpu Essays in Qing Dynasty, Ning black tea was founded in Daoguang period of Qing Dynasty, and was once listed as tribute tea in Guangxu period. At the beginning of the 20th century, Ning black tea was abundant and sold in its heyday. Tea merchants and experts at home and abroad praised it as "tea covers China, and the price is the first in the world". At that time, there was also an industry proverb: "Ning Hong does not arrive at Zhuang, and tea does not open."

As an export production base of "Ning Black Tea", a new variety of "Ning Black Tea" 1958 produced in xiushui county has been appraised by experts at home and abroad, and its quality has reached the international advanced tea standards. 1980 was awarded a commendation order by Jiangxi Provincial People's Government. 1983 was awarded the honorary certificate by the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade of the People's Republic of China. 1984 won the Jiangxi Quality Product Award, and 1985 won the Golden Cup Award and the National Silver Award from the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries.
