Is emotional health "harmony" more expensive in spring?
People are born with the spirit of heaven and earth and the method of four seasons, so health care must conform to nature and not go against it. Mentally, spring belongs to the order of the liver. Only by maintaining mental and emotional comfort can we promote the release of liver qi, help unify the rise of liver qi with the rise of spring yang, and thus enhance the adaptability of the body to the outside world. So, how can we keep our spirits and emotions comfortable? It is "harmony", and we must learn to live in harmony with the things around us.

First, make peace with yourself.

It is best to look away from things outside, pursue what you think and do what you think, so that body and mind can be highly harmonious and unified, and people can obtain mental health and promote physical health.

So how to do it specifically? In fact, the answer has long been given in Huangdi Neijing Su Wen Si Qi Diao, which is: "Go to bed late and get up early, stride to court and go slow." At first glance, these words seem to be talking about daily life. In fact, they told us to return to a natural state, conform to the spirit of spring growth, and we will follow what everything looks like, so don't embarrass ourselves. For example, in spring, you have to "stride in court", that is, you have to stretch your muscles a little, but you sit in the office and work overtime every day, motionless. This means that you have no "harmony with yourself", that is, you can't get along with yourself. Finally, you can't stretch your liver. If you have liver disease, you are still yourself.

Why take your eyes off things outside? Remember, in the Yellow Emperor's canon, keeping in good health is not about keeping things outside your body, how to earn money, how to buy clothes, etc., but about how to "keep things inside your body". Spring is the season when mental patients are prone to illness. Ordinary people may also have emotional instability, dreaminess, active thinking, difficulty in concentrating, drowsiness, listlessness and other "spring sleep" symptoms. Especially for the elderly and infirm, they have poor tolerance to bad stimuli, and they are often sentimental and irritable in spring. The best way to change this bad mood is to seek your own elegance according to your physical condition and hobbies, so as to cultivate your sentiment, relax your mood, nourish your liver and adjust your mind.

Second, the sum of people.

Harmony with others means to live in harmony with others, establish harmonious interpersonal relationships, be generous with others, and make the body and mind in a relaxed state. This is beneficial for the human body to secrete beneficial hormones, so that the function of the nervous system is in the best state and the body's resistance is enhanced.

"Huangdi Neijing Su Wen Si Qi Diao Ling" says that in spring, we should "give without taking, reward without punishment", which means that we should live in harmony with people. "Giving without taking" means giving. For example, don't oppress children too much, and you can't force knowledge into children. If you always suppress him, the consequences will appear in autumn, that is, when he reaches youth.

"Reward without punishment" means rewarding others, not punishing them. If you don't punish, you won't inhibit the growth of others. In the company, as a boss, you shouldn't punish this employee and that employee in the spring. In this way, you will inhibit employees' innovative thinking.

Third, the sum of nature.

Harmony with nature means conforming to nature, cherishing natural mountains and rivers, caring for flowers and trees, actively adapting to nature without confronting it, and being close to nature, such as breathing fresh air, bathing in spring sunshine, sleeping in green grass and hiking in the mountains, which are all good ways to store emotions and keep healthy.

How should we get along with nature in spring? The Yellow Emperor's classic Su Wen's Four Qi Tunes the Spirit, saying that at this time, it is necessary to "live without killing". China's traditional culture emphasizes that killing in spring is strictly prohibited, and ancient emperors also regard "no logging in spring, no nesting and killing foetuses" as one of the important contents of administrative orders, because these actions are contrary to the vitality of spring. As long as you pick a flower in spring, you will lose a fruit in autumn. Everything grows in spring, so let it grow.
