Linchuan Hot Spring Scenic Area is located in the west of Linchuan District, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, with geographical coordinates of east longitude 1 16 04' to north latitude 27 31'to 2814'. It is adjacent to Fuzhou in the east, Dundu Town in the south, Gaoping in the west and Fubei Town, Zhanping Township and Tong Yuan Township in the north. The scenic spot is only 15km away from Fuzhou city and 80km away from Nanchang city. It is within Nanchang 1 hour economic circle, with an area of 32km2 and a core area of 8.78km2 It will invest 180 billion yuan, relying on hot spring resources, scenic resources, natural vegetation conditions and Linchuan culture, religious and cultural characteristics, highlighting the landscape culture and health preservation culture. Focusing on hot spring health, cultural tourism and ecological leisure, around the development of tourism economy, we will promote the comprehensive and coordinated development of traditional service industries such as commerce and catering and emerging service industries such as education and training, medical care, leisure and entertainment, and old-age care, and strive to build the scenic spot into a national hot spring cultural industry demonstration zone, the living room of Changfu Garden in Jiangxi, a new landmark of Fuzhou tourism and the first brand of hot springs in three to five years.

Linchuan Hot Spring Scenic Area has six administrative villages, namely Wenquan Village, Yangyuan Village, Liu Ling Village, Wengping Village, Tongshan Village and Qinglian Village, with a population of1.2000. There is a hot spring hotel of China People's Bank. The planning scope of the scenic spot is 10 square kilometers around Datang City Village, Qinglianshan Village Committee of Wenquan Town, including Qinglianshan, Mingshui Lake, Yushan Reservoir Shanxia Village, Datang City Village and Fuzhou Sanatorium. Its boundary is from the north of Tongshan (except the fruit forest) along the township road through Fan Yuan and Luo Jialing to Fuzhou sanatorium (hot spring hotel) and Shihegang area.
