Do you really sleep? Taoism tells you something about sleeping.
Sleep and dream about trivial things that happened during the day. Taoists talk about "spleen concept". People who have these dreams have poor digestive function (stomach) and absorption function (spleen). People are asleep, and the gastrointestinal tract is still crawling, digesting and absorbing. The spleen and stomach function is poor, and the food during the day is not digested enough, so other functions of the body need to be mobilized to help it work, which leads to dreaming and drooling.

Taoism pays attention to the unity of man and nature. "Heaven" is nature and "Tao" is law. People should obey the laws of nature and keep healthy. So, what is obeying the laws of nature?

First, go to bed early

People who stay up late for many years are prone to liver injury and kidney injury for a long time, gradually causing both qi and blood losses, and they will feel pale when they look in the mirror every day. Therefore, it doesn't matter to get up early, but it is absolutely impossible to go to bed late. Many patients with depression have the habit of staying up late, which often hurts the liver, sperm and gallbladder. This kind of people are often depressed (lung qi is also affected, the reason for long-term ineffectiveness).

Second, the mind is empty.

Think of this body as air, floating in the air. Many times, insomnia stems from lingering distractions when you fall asleep. Don't toss and turn in bed at this time, so as not to waste energy and make it harder to fall asleep. You can try to sit on the bed naturally, put your hands on your legs naturally, breathe naturally, feel the pores of your whole body open and close with breathing, and enter the realm of selflessness.

Third, take a nap

At noon (equivalent to 1 1 am to 1 noon), if you can't sleep at this time, you can sit still for 15 minutes and close your eyes. In fact, as long as you close your eyes at noon and really fall asleep for 3 minutes, it is equivalent to sleeping for 2 hours.

Fourth, keep warm.

Keep your limbs warm when you sleep. If the limbs are not warm, it must be kidney-yang deficiency. Warm your hands and feet before going to bed, especially your hands and feet, navel and the life gate behind you. Remember not to be greedy.
