Nalan Garden is located in Shangzhuang Cuihu Tourist Area, Haidian District, with Bi Shuiyuan in the east, Cuihu Wetland Park in the west, Shangzhuang Reservoir in the south and plantations in the north, overlooking the distant mountains and lingering clear water. The whole apartment was rebuilt from the residence of Nalan Xingde, a famous writer in Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty. The apartment consists of more than ten quadrangles, which is simple, elegant and grounded. Nalanyuan Senior Apartment is a large-scale comprehensive old-age demonstration base operated by Beijing Taihe Old-age Service Industry Development Co., Ltd. under Zhongguancun Science and Technology Group. It is the first batch of national designated medical units and designated pilot units for Alzheimer's disease in China.
