Dai Temple is located in the southern foot of Mount Tai, Tai 'an City, and was built in Qin and Han Dynasties. It is the place where ancient emperors worshipped Mount Tai and held sacrificial ceremonies, and it is also a famous Taoist shrine.
Dai Temple has a huge complex, and it is also called the four ancient buildings in China with the Forbidden City in Beijing, Sankong in Qufu, Shandong and chengde mountain resort. Today, the magnificent palace is well preserved here, and you can enjoy the huge murals and many ancient inscriptions of the Song Dynasty.
The whole Dai Temple was built according to the Miyagi shape of the ancient emperors. Towering castles and magnificent halls are everywhere, showing the style of ancient royal temples. From south to north, you can enter Daimiao, pass through the main buildings such as Yaocan Pavilion, Daimiao Square, Zhengyangmen, Peitianmen and Ren 'anmen in turn, and then arrive at Tianlong Hall.
Among them, the tall Zhengyangmen is the main entrance of Dai Temple. In ancient times, only the emperor could enter through this door. Tiangong Temple is the core building of Dai temple and the shrine of Dongyue Emperor. Mount Tai (Dongyue the Great) is enshrined in the temple, and the huge mural "The Return of Mount Tai" is painted on the north, east and west walls of the main hall.
