1, Zhungeer Yellow River Grand Canyon Tourist Area
The Yellow River Gorge is a famous Shanxi-Shaanxi-Mongolia Grand Canyon, which is located in the hilly area in the southeast of Ordos Plateau. Total length 197km, with Luliang Mountain on the left bank and the northern foot of the Loess Plateau on the right bank. The mountains are high and the valleys are deep. Due to the construction of the downstream Wanjiazhai large-scale water control project, a unique canyon landscape has been formed here, which is called "Three Gorges of the Yellow River" by local people.

Soft sandstone is a kind of loose rock stratum, especially an interlayer rock composed of thick sandstone, sand shale and argillaceous sandstone in Paleozoic Permian (about 250 million years) and Mesozoic Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous. Ordos City, a national water conservancy scenic spot, is located in Wenshui Town, Zhungeer Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia. The scenic spot presents a typical loess landform with criss-crossing gullies, exposed sandstone and unique geological landscape.
4. Zhaizi Gedan Site
Zhaizi Gedan Site is located in Zhungeer Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. This is a Neolithic site and the earliest stone wall site found in northern China so far. The archaeological team composed of Ordos Museum excavated in 1998, and the Zhaizi Gedan site was slightly oval, with an area of about 15000 square meters. The stone fence has a bottom width of 4.5 meters, a top residual width of 0.5 to 3.5 meters and a residual height of about 1.5 meters. In the center, there is a 30-meter-long high platform base, which belongs to the remains of an altar performing religious affairs.
5. Twelve Liancheng Sites
Shili Liancheng Site is located in Shili Liancheng Township, Zhungeer Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, commonly known as Shili Liancheng, and was founded in 583 AD. The site of Shiliancheng is now in ruins, and archaeologists have excavated cultural relics from the Neolithic Age to the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Among them, blue glazed pottery puppies and white glazed porcelain children from the late Tang Dynasty are now on display at the China History Museum.
