In the morning one week before labor, pregnant sows should be on an empty stomach, and after body surface cleaning, disinfection and deworming, they should carefully rush into the prepared delivery column. After arriving at the stall, a small amount of wet mix should be given, and anti-stress additives should be added to familiarize them with the new environment and reduce stress reaction.

3. The breeder should be fixed after the sow enters the delivery room. It is very important to take good care of sows and primiparous sows, especially primiparous sows.

4. The room temperature should not be too high in summer. If the temperature in the delivery room exceeds 30℃ and the humidity is high, the sow will feel uncomfortable, short of breath and fever, which will affect breastfeeding.

5. Prepare delivery tools, such as delivery registration form, sacks, towels, scissors, disinfectants, iodine, etc.

(1) When the sow gives birth, all the prepared materials and utensils shall be transferred to the delivery room and put in the correct position; (2) Check whether the heat preservation lamp and heating system work normally; (3) Check whether the size of the delivery box is suitable for the body shape of sows, and it is best to ensure that each sow enters the delivery box 3 days before delivery; (4) placing the life history record of each sow to be delivered beside or above the delivery box; (5) transferring sawdust and other filling materials from the storage area to the conveying room; (6) Check whether the drugs related to anti-inflammation and recovery are ready during and after delivery, and whether they are within the warranty period; (7) Check whether the colostrum of sows is sufficient, and if the breast milk is insufficient, it needs to be supplemented;

(8) When postpartum sows and reserve sows begin to collapse and other physiological phenomena before delivery, remove pig manure at least 1 time every day; (9) Put as much sawdust on the sow's back as possible to prevent excessive friction and bruising. Provide a comfortable and dry environment for the birth of suckling pigs; (10) There should be a heat source on the back or one side of each sow, and pay attention to the position, so as not to let the sow touch it and prevent the breeder from getting close to the sow; (1 1) If a heating pad device is used, an infrared thermometer is required to check whether the temperature is appropriate; (12) No matter whether the heat preservation lamp is hanging or hanging sideways, the temperature in the crawling area of suckling pigs should be kept at about 30C after laying the padding.
