Reading Chinese Studies, Speaking Civilization and Understanding Etiquette Essay Competition
At the beginning of school, the school organized us to learn a classic book-Disciples Rules.

Disciple Rules, originally named Xun Mengwen, was written by Li Yuxiu, a scholar in the Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty. It specifically lists the etiquette and norms that children should have when they are at home, going out, treating others and studying. This book is the best reading for enlightening, cultivating honesty, educating children to do their best, preventing evil and keeping upright, and maintaining a healthy and loyal family style.

"Whatever you say, trust comes first, and fraud and falsehood are ridiculous." This sentence is what I feel most. It fully shows that honesty and lying are not desirable. This reminds me of a long time ago: in my childhood memory, I was fascinated by computer games. As soon as I touched the mouse, I was completely immersed in the world of computer games, forgetting the time and everything around me, and the time agreed with my mother to end the game was also delayed. My mother flew into a rage, so I had to turn off the computer. Now, I have learned Disciples Rules, and I feel ashamed to think about the teachings of my ancestors and reflect on my own behavior. Being a man should pay attention to credit, which is the foundation of a person's life. If a person doesn't even talk about credit, how can he stand in society and make a difference? Disciples' Rules made me realize what I had done before. I want to be honest and trustworthy, with more wonderful details, less broken words and deeds, more beautiful scenery and less broken promises in my future study and life. Make unremitting efforts and struggle towards the goal you pursue, so that your life will shine.

In short, learning Disciples Rules has benefited me a lot, and I want to apply what I have learned to my study and life.
