Drive from Chengdu to Wangyaogu, get on Mianguang Expressway in Zhaojue Temple, and drive about 1 10 km (about 1 hour) to Mianyang North Expressway (note that there are three high-speed exits in Mianyang, namely Mianyang South and Mianyang North, and it is generally the most convenient to take Wangyaogu from Mianyang North Expressway). It takes about half an hour to get to Jiangyou along Mianjiang Expressway after getting out of the expressway. From Jiangyou to Pingwu, you can go directly to the east line of Jiuzhaigou tourist ring road without turning all the way. It's about 20 kilometers into Beichuan county boundary, and next to the iconic memorial archway of Qiang nationality in Beichuan county boundary, there is a billboard of Gu, which can be reached by crossing the bridge to the left and going up the mountain for 7 kilometers.
