There are many kinds of oils on the market now, and many people prefer to eat one or two. Recently, the author learned from some pregnancy manuals of expectant mothers in Taiwan Province Province that expectant mothers in Taiwan Province Province should eat at least four kinds of oils during pregnancy-linseed oil, olive oil, sunflower oil and camellia oil. Especially for expectant mothers with partial eclipse, such as those who don't like marine fish, it is best to eat linseed oil which is very beneficial to the baby's brain development in the third trimester.
Liu Zheng, a health expert in Taiwan Province Province and president of Dunas Company, suggested that pregnant women can always keep linseed oil, olive oil, sunflower oil and camellia oil at home. These oils are characterized by containing more unsaturated fatty acids and are particularly beneficial to the heart and brain.
When cooking, expectant mothers may wish to use linseed oil today, olive oil tomorrow and sunflower oil the day after tomorrow. These oils taste good whether cooked or cold.
Liu Zheng said that the advantage of olive oil is that it is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins E, K, A, D and phenolic antioxidants, while the content of unsaturated fatty acids in linoleic acid is about 70% and that in tea oil is over 90%.
Flaxseed oil is especially recommended, which is rich in α -linolenic acid. Like deep-sea fish oil, it is known as "plant gold" and may not be comparable to other vegetable oils.
In addition, α -linolenic acid will be decomposed into DHA called "brain gold" according to human needs. It can make cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases soft and elastic, and the fetus can obtain DHA from the mother through the placenta. In the third month of pregnancy, the fetal brain begins to develop, and sufficient DHA supplies the fetus with sufficient phospholipids to promote the growth and development of fetal brain cells and make children smarter. Especially in the last three months of pregnancy, the fetal brain grows faster, almost three times as fast, with an increase of 250 thousand neurons per minute. During this period, pregnant women especially need α -linolenic acid.
