Lotus seeds can continue to grow flowers.

Humidity management

I like a slightly humid climate, and the relative temperature of the air in the growing environment is required to be 50 ~ 70%.

Temperature management

I like warm climate, but the hot and muggy environment in summer (above 35℃ and air relative humidity above 80%) is not conducive to its growth; The requirements for winter temperature are very strict. When the ambient temperature is lower than 10℃, the growth stops, and it is unsafe to overwinter when frost occurs.

In the growth environment above 34℃, the correct treatment method is:

1, strengthen air convection as much as possible to facilitate its transpiration and reduce the body temperature;

2. Spray the leaves 2-4 times a day: the higher the temperature, the more times. When the temperature is low or rainy, spray less or not;

3. Spray the surrounding ground wet, which is very helpful to reduce the ambient temperature.

In the growth environment below 0℃, the correct treatment method is:

1, and move indoors to not less than 0℃ for wintering;

2. If you can't move it, you need to wrap it with straw or bury it with soil;

3. When the temperature drops further, we should also consider wrapping it with film, but uncover the film every two days when the temperature is high at noon to let it breathe.

Lighting management

In the hot summer season (the temperature is above 35℃ during the day), if it is maintained in direct sunlight, it will grow very slowly or enter a semi-dormant state, and the leaves will be burned and slowly turn yellow and fall off. So in the hot summer, you should block about 50% of the sun.

In spring, autumn and winter, because the temperature is not very high, it should be given direct sunlight to facilitate its photosynthesis, flower bud formation, flowering and fruiting.

When placed indoors for maintenance, try to put it in a bright place, such as living room, bedroom, study and other well-lit places. After curing indoors for a period of time (about two months), it needs to be moved to a cool place outdoors (with heat preservation conditions in winter) and stored for a period of time (about one month), and so on.

Fertilizer and water management

Like other grass flowers, they need more fertilizer and water, but they are most afraid of indiscriminate fertilization, centralized fertilization and partial application of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. It is required to follow the two fertilization (water) principles of "frequent application of light fertilizer, small quantity and multiple times, complete nutrition" and "intermittent drying, thorough drying, no watering and thorough watering", and keep the leaves and flowers dry at night after fertilization.

After a period of recovery, fertilizer and water management should keep up quickly. Fertilizer and water management is in the order of "Huabao"-"Huabao"-"Clear Water"-"Huabao"-"Huabao"-"Clear Water", and the interval is about 1 ~ 3 days, which is shorter in sunny days or high temperature, and longer in rainy days or low temperature.

Although it continues to grow in winter, low temperature will slow down its growth rate, requiring little fertilizer and water, and even controlling fertilizer and water. The fertilizer and water management is circulated in the order of "Huabao"-clear water-clear water-"Huabao"-clear water-clear water, with an interval of about 4-7 days, shorter in sunny days or high temperatures, longer in rainy days or low temperatures or without watering.

Try to arrange the watering time at noon on a sunny day with high temperature.
