Why do you say that? We can use calligraphy and Chinese medicine as examples. On the surface, China's culture seems to be like A Qin's, a go, a calligraphy, a Chinese painting, a poem, a book, a poem, a history and other literary arts, but it is also mysterious and somewhat exquisite. However, if you only stare at these things, it actually means that they are still outside the door. Many people misunderstand China culture and think it is very old, so they learn from it and make their homes elegant. However, if you look closely, it seems that something is still missing. So what is China culture?
Based on personal superficial understanding and cognition, I think that if you don't explore a cultural activity with your heart, you will never get the essence, but will only float on the surface and become an arty you, me and him.
What is calligraphy?
Actually, I don't know. . . . However, let me give you an example, which may have certain reference significance.
First of all, calligraphy is definitely not a bunch of strokes or symbolization. For example, Tian Yingzhang's handwriting is not calligraphy, but a design, similar to calligraphy.
Because there is no temperament, it is just a symbolic and standardized pile. Laotian's handwriting may be a standardized template for beginners. After practicing, it's really not bad, but it's definitely not good. Because what he lost after standardization was the soul of calligraphy. Just like many handmade products and machine-made assembly line products, the difference between them is the difference between Tian Yingzhang font and calligraphy.
What is real calligraphy like? Let me take Ou Yangxun as an example. His statutes are strict and dignified, but they are not rigid.
Look at the word "micro" Give examples to explain why the law is strict.
Forget the strokes. Look at the structure first. Ou Yangxun's calligraphy, such as 1 and 2, 2 and 3 and 4, 7 and 4, 5 and 6, 8 and 9, must be a straight line. 10+ 1 1 is the middle uterus, which is tightened, the periphery is stretched and the axis is dense. Then there is the stroke technique, which is sharp but not stiff, the lines are symmetrical, and the flat place will not be inclined. So dignified.
This word is just an example, and his other words basically have such regular characteristics. When arranged in a space, there is a symmetrical tension. For example, words with simple strokes will be thicker and smaller, and words with complex strokes will be thinner and larger, so that they will not be abrupt and very harmonious, so they are beautiful, rigorous and dignified.
This is calligraphy. So in fact, calligraphy is to extract a unified and regular aesthetic feeling. It's not paddling. Even if your brush strokes are comfortable to the extreme and the thickness is excessively uniform to the extreme, the combination may lack aesthetic feeling. This is very similar to Chinese medicine, which will be illustrated later.
In fact, this means that if you don't understand the truth of calligraphy, no matter how skilled you are in writing and how profound your foundation is, you are just a word maker.
So what is the truth of calligraphy? It seems that the regularity extracted from everyone's handwriting is different. For example, Ou Yangxun and Liu Gongquan are very different, but they are both calligraphers. Su Shi's calligraphy is leisurely and he is also the first calligrapher in the Song Dynasty. Later, I understood that, in the final analysis, calligraphy is a person's character, which is transformed into a regular aesthetic feeling within his cognitive range and displayed. This is calligraphy. Therefore, even if the regularity presented by each calligrapher is inconsistent, no matter how to write it, it still has remarkable beauty.
So I have friends around me who have written for more than ten years, and I can't write at all. Finally, after practicing for a period of time, they changed their mentality and way of doing things, and the word suddenly rose to a height.
Therefore, I also understand the reason why so many heroes are addicted to calligraphy throughout the ages, because in the final analysis, people are nothing more than a kind of practice.
Chinese medicine in our country is actually a branch of Taoist medicine. Taoist medicine belongs to a skill of Taoism, which definitely originated from Taoism, that is, Li Er. Taoism is definitely the foundation of our culture, that is, the thought of Laozi and Zhuangzi. Strangely, one thought can become many practical activities of treating diseases and governing the country. This point is difficult to explain clearly in words from the traditional three-dimensional space (that is, the world that the eyes can see), and interested people can experience it by themselves.
However, a very strange phenomenon is that whenever the times in our country are extremely chaotic and hopeless, the figures who come out to "set things right" are Taoist figures. However, in the end, it is all about "success, retirement, and heaven." For example, Yi Yin in Shang Tang, Jiang Taigong in the Zhou Dynasty, Chen Ping in the Han Dynasty, and Zhuge in the Three Kingdoms. . . . . . .
So China's culture actually looks like a fault, but it has never been interrupted, even now. And from beginning to end, it is "using Huang Lao internally and showing Confucianism externally".
Off topic, let's talk about Chinese medicine.
Chinese medicine is actually very difficult to learn. Skill, prescription, reason and Tao are like a ball. There are many external methods, but it is difficult to cut into the ball. For example, there can be thousands of things for surgery, so you will find that this doctor sticks needles like this and that doctor sticks needles like that. Everything in each family is different but very effective. When the shoulder hurts, there are methods to loosen the shoulder, holographic reflection to find the elbow, and acupuncture to find the corresponding acupoint of the calf. Every method is very effective, but the method is so different! It's really hard to figure out.
I know this, just like the strokes of calligraphy. These methods are all strokes. Some teachers are really good at criticizing the shortcomings of the times, and they are especially good at proper restrictions, but they just can't cure the disease. In other words, like many calligraphers, strokes can be measured with calipers, but they just can't be calligraphers.
Then you will find that many people go to this Chinese medicine training class and that Chinese medicine training class, but they can't cure the disease. Because the teachers in the training class are all talking about the technical level. Maybe some teachers also talk about the level of the aisle, but not everyone can grasp it. This is also the reason why there are few good Chinese medicine practitioners, just because they don't know how to treat medicine.
So what is the medical approach? I also use my own experience and simple understanding to make an explanation for reference only.
The way of medicine is to understand why people get sick, so that they can reflect on themselves.
Perhaps many Chinese medicine practitioners will talk about six meridians syndrome differentiation, and syndrome differentiation is greater than treatment. They believe that syndrome differentiation is the way of medicine. Yes, I think it can be counted as one kind, but it is not enough. Because even if we know where the initial symptoms are and use methods to solve them, many cases show that it is difficult to eradicate them after a period of time. The problem of eye disease lies in the liver, so I tried to solve the problem of liver, but today's things will be bright and gray in a few days. . . . .
Because the road is simple, anger leads to anger, fear leads to anger, joy leads to anger, sadness leads to anger, and thinking leads to anger. I get angry when I think about it, and I feel sick everywhere. So the solution is not how to solve this knot, but how to solve the knot. Untie the knot depends on the doctor, and more importantly, on yourself. Recognizing the cause of one's illness is the basis of treatment. There are no unexplained diseases. People are actually lucky to be sick, because this is a warning from God and gives you a chance to reflect on yourself. So if you don't realize the root cause, any method may be just a relief, not a cure, because you don't reflect on yourself.
Therefore, Chinese medicine is fundamentally downward, and his medical approach lies in inner reflection. That is, how to be a man. A person's character. This is not a technical or absolute debate.
It may be a bit metaphysical, but from the point of view of clinical practice, except for their own good skills, all big doctor focuses on how to make patients behave properly.
Therefore, following the path of book doctor, you will naturally find the Tao. Taoist harmony and oneness, even though countless branches have evolved, such as Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Chinese medicine, calligraphy, guqin, poetry and tea, are all deep-seated personalities of this person without exception, and they follow nature and morality. In other words, only by doing a good job of people first will your extra learning achievements play a role, not just becoming a word maker, needle maker or tea maker.
All laws are unified, one is Tao, and the embodiment is personality. This is the deep connotation of China culture.
