Company Profile: Xishuangbanna Tea Horse Ancient Road Scenic Area (formerly known as Yunchayuan Scenic Area) is located in Menghai Township, Menghai County, Xishuangbanna. It is jointly developed and constructed by the Tea Research Institute of Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the scenic spot. Construction started on February 8, 2006 and was put into trial operation on October 28, 2007. Covering area1500mu, altitude 1200m, annual average temperature 18℃, annual precipitation 1500mm. After years of unremitting efforts, the scenic spot has developed into a comprehensive eco-tourism base integrating scientific research, protection of historical sites and cultural relics, popular science education, display of ethnic tea culture and tea trading. 20 12 0 10 was rated as a national AAAA scenic spot by the scenic spot evaluation committee of the National Tourism Administration, and it is also an AAAA-level scenic spot in Menghai County at present.
