There are ancient wild trees on many peaks of Laoshan Mountain. There is a mountain with an altitude of 98 1 m in Qipanshi Scenic Area of Laoshan Mountain. The terrain is dangerous, and the locals call it "Tianchaping".
There is a century-old camellia in the gap of the cliff on the east side of the mountain peak. Looking at this tree from a distance, it looks as strong as ever, and seems to be blessed by heaven. People call it "heavenly tea", and some people call it "divine tea". During the growth of some ancient and famous trees in Laoshan Mountain, some benefited from special geographical conditions and formed unique shapes, which were of great ornamental value, while others were in harmony with the surrounding environment.
Formed a wonderful natural wonder. For example, next to the "Fengxian Bridge" in Taiqing Palace, there is a plant of Ulmaceae, a thick-leaved tree, which is about 19 meters high. Its crown is huge, its trunk is twisted, its nodules are prominent, and its shape is very similar to that of the dragon head, so it is also called "dragon head elm". This tree was planted by Li Xuan, a famous Taoist of Laoshan Mountain in the Five Dynasties when he built the "Three Emperors Hall" in Taiqing Palace. Therefore, it is not an exaggeration to call Laoshan Mountain "Shandong Plant Kingdom".
