What are the requirements for kidney transplantation?
What conditions do kidney transplant patients need to meet?

Not all uremic patients can have kidney transplantation, and the following conditions must be met:

(1) The age range of uremia patients is 12-65 years old. Patients over 65 years old who have normal functions of heart, lung and liver organs, stable blood pressure and good mental state may also consider kidney transplantation.

(2) Irreversible renal failure caused by chronic nephritis, uremia or other kidney diseases;

(3) After hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis treatment, uremic patients are generally in good condition, and there is no potential infection focus in the body, so they can tolerate kidney transplant patients;

(4) Uremic patients with no history of active ulcer, tumor, hepatitis or tuberculosis, and no history of mental or nervous system.

(5) The renal tissue of the patient is well matched. ?

With the development of modern scientific research technology, the success rate of kidney transplantation has been improved. Most kidney transplantation centers have no absolute age limit for transplant patients, and decide whether to give kidney transplantation mainly according to the patient's physical condition.
