Two-kilometer walk
After a long hesitation, I finally decided on a day and started walking to work. Although it is winter, the temperature is not low. It's a little cold this morning. Just put on a sweater. The distance from home to the company is two kilometers and the estimated time is forty minutes. After all, it is the first time to walk. I reserved 50 minutes, which is also my habit. I don't like doing something in a hurry all the time.

I went out in a hurry, holding my mobile phone in my left hand and my bag in my right hand, and my pace was accelerating and increasing with the high interest. After walking for a while, I looked at my mobile phone, calculated the time after passing through various landmark buildings, and then thought to myself, it was quite fast. So I took the opportunity to enjoy the scenery on the road. When I passed a crossroads, I didn't wait for the traffic lights, but walked a short overpass. On the overpass, I can see the endless traffic, the motorcade waiting to enter the main road, and the crowded pedestrians stopping at the red light. Another reason why I take the overpass is that I don't like being forced to stop and then trotting with a group of people for more than ten seconds.

After passing a steamed bun shop, I stopped for a few minutes, carefully looked at the attractive menu, and finally ordered a meat bun and a steamed dumpling. The steamed stuffed bun seller is a woman about my age. She quickly lifted the steamer to get the steamed bread. I asked her to take it. When I finished ordering, she wrapped it and handed it to me. Before I had time to pay, she asked the other guests what they needed, as if she didn't care whether the guests paid or not.

I looked at the time after buying steamed bread. I only walked for fifteen minutes, and there is still half way to go. The second half of the road is spacious and quiet, basically all shops that have not yet opened, including health centers, convenience stores and snack shops. I especially like this paragraph, too. You can listen while walking with headphones to relieve the slight pain in your calf. At this time, I saw the bus that I usually take flying by. There were not many people on the bus, and I also saw some familiar faces. Sometimes people are really strange. I don't know each other, but I still remember yesterday when we took the bus together. I stood here and you stood there.

Walking, there are still more than ten meters from the company gate, happy. Look at the time, it's been 45 minutes. I feel sticky forehead, sweat and sticky back. Good thing I'm not late.
