Why is Junan called Lingang?
The reason why Junan is called Lingang is because Lingang Development Zone covers Shang Ping, Tuanlin, Zhuanggang and Zhulu in Junan County. Lingang Economic Development Zone is located in the easternmost part of Linyi City, covering the four towns of Shang Ping, Tuanlin, Zhuanggang and Zhulu in Junan County. After the establishment of Lingang District, it is no longer subordinate to Junan, but directly subordinate to Linyi Municipal Government like High-tech Zone and Development Zone. Lingang Lingang New City is located on the coast of the East China Sea, at the intersection of the Yangtze River estuary and Hangzhou Bay in the southeast of Shanghai, at the forefront of Shanghai territory, 50 kilometers away from the central city of Shanghai, to the Dazhi River in the north and to the suburban ring road a30- outer ring A2 in the west.
