This poem depicts the majestic momentum of the Yellow River and expresses the poet's heroic spirit of pursuing ideals and taking risks. The first two sentences of the poem describe the magnificent picture of the Yellow River galloping thousands of miles, and Nine Songs exaggerates the twists and turns of the Yellow River. The last two sentences quoted Zhang Qian's allusion to finding Heyuan for Emperor Wu and the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl across the Milky Way, and galloped through his imagination, expressing that he would face the stormy waves and yellow sand in Wan Li and go upstream until he reached the home of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, which showed the heroic momentum of the poet.
