1. Go to bed early and get up early to nourish the liver.
Huangdi Neijing said: "In the spring of March, this is called Chen Zhisheng, the world is born, and everything is glorious. He lies at night and gets up early, striding to court and being delayed, so as to live, live without killing, give without taking, reward without punishment. This is the answer of spring and the way of health preservation. This means that everything is thriving at the beginning of spring. At this time, people should go to bed early and get up early, go for a walk in the morning and relax themselves so that their emotions will not be violated by the growth of spring. This is the way to keep fit for spring. If this method is violated, the liver will be damaged, which is the basis of spring delivery. Therefore, one of the six principles of health preservation in spring is to recuperate the liver and relax the body in spring. After accumulating energy in autumn and winter, our meridians begin to operate in spring and summer, and the human body begins to release energy. The function of the liver in the five internal organs is mainly to disperse the discharge, so beginning of spring can nourish the liver as the general principle.
2. Excessive liver qi in spring will affect the transport function of spleen and stomach. Therefore, friends with weak spleen and stomach should eat more yam, jujube and lotus seed porridge in spring to control excessive liver qi and prevent symptoms such as abdominal distension caused by chronic stomach diseases and chronic hepatitis from aggravating. Beginning of spring is followed by the Spring Festival. People with poor spleen and stomach on weekdays must eat light and moderate food, especially hot food such as mutton or seafood, so as to avoid the recurrence of illness.
3. Spring bamboo shoots
When it comes to eating spring, you have to mention bamboo shoots. Spring bamboo shoots are crisp and delicious, and they are fragrant and sweet when chewed. They are known as "the first vegetarian food" and have been loved by people since ancient times. Scholars and gourmets are amazed at it, and there is a saying that "early adopters are like mushrooms after rain". If carnivores are contemptuous, eating bamboo shoots is just the opposite. The taste of bamboo shoots is so elegant and meaningful. Chinese medicine believes that spring bamboo shoots have the effects of "benefiting nine orifices, dredging blood vessels, resolving phlegm and promoting fluid production, and promoting digestion and abdominal distension".
4. Little carrots
I don't think it's necessary to say more about radish. Everybody loves it. No matter what kind of radish it is, it has both medicinal and edible value. Therefore, they can be used to solve the problems of great temperature change in spring, gastrointestinal discomfort, loss of appetite and so on. Because radish has a high cellulose content, it can smoothly help the human body to carry out gastrointestinal peristalsis and food metabolism, thus gradually regulating the "injured" stomach.
5. Bean sprouts
The climate in spring is dry, which is prone to symptoms of angular stomatitis such as dry mouth and dry lips. Bean sprouts are delicious and are a good choice for nourishing and moistening dryness, clearing away heat and detoxifying. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, eating bean sprouts in early spring is helpful for the five internal organs to change from winter storage to spring production, which is conducive to dredging liver qi, strengthening spleen and stomach. It is best to eat bean sprouts as lightly as possible and cook them once. Even if you want to stir fry, stir fry quickly to minimize the loss of vitamins. You can also marinate the soup with minced meat.
spinach
6.
Spinach is a vegetable that is available all year round, but it is better to eat in spring, instead of "autumn spinach" as Zhao Benshan and Song Dandan said. The roots of "Spring Pineapple" are red and green, fresh and abnormal, and the most delicious. Spinach listed in spring is quite beneficial to detoxify and prevent spring dryness. Chinese medicine also believes that spinach is sweet and cool, which can nourish blood and stop bleeding, astringe yin and moisten dryness. Because spinach contains more oxalic acid, which hinders the absorption of calcium and iron, it should be blanched with boiling water before frying.
Huangdi Neijing recorded the principle of "nourishing yang in spring and summer", which means that it is suitable to eat more things that warm and tonify yang in spring diet. Compendium of Materia Medica also records that "eating fresh and tender dishes such as onions, garlic, leeks, etc." is beneficial to aphrodisiac. Many seasonal vegetables can warm the sun in spring.
