Brief introduction of Jianfengling Scenic Spot:

Located in Ledong County, it is the largest and best-preserved tropical virgin forest area in China. It was designated as a national forest park in July, 1992. The elevation of the main peak is 14 12 meters, and the elevation of the lowest point is only 200 meters, with a relative elevation difference of 1000 meters. The terrain is very complicated.

Jianfengling is a huge gene bank of natural species. More than 2,000 vascular plants and 300 tree species have been discovered. Some giant trees are as high as thirty or forty meters, and it takes four or five people to hold them. There are 0/48 species of birds and beasts/kloc-and nearly 1,000 species of insects. Compared with the Amazon rainforest in South America, the tropical rainforest in the Congo River basin in Africa, and the tropical rainforests in Indonesia and Malaysia, there are more little-known or unknown secrets here. After visiting Jianfengling, United Nations experts thought that it was the most ideal place for the first research of the United Nations Man and Biosphere Program, and all kinds of research were available and all disciplines could be carried out.
