It shows that massage has become an important means of medical treatment and health preservation in Qin and Han Dynasties.

How about regular massage?

Undoubtedly, massage can relieve pain and fatigue to some extent, which is an effective therapy. But regular massage is not necessarily good. Because the vitality and range of activities of modern life are not large, there is basically no strenuous exercise, only a small part (about 20%) of muscles are in a state of continuous exercise, while most (about 80%) of muscles are in a state of "dormancy". Muscle is prone to imbalance, so it is also prone to pain in some parts. Is everyone suitable for massage?

Of course not. It is best not to massage in the following situations:

Try not to massage when you are full, hungry, tired or have a bad sleep for a long time;

Dislocation, fracture, acute sprain period taboo massage;

Massage is not recommended for skin diseases such as skin trauma, inflammation or herpes;

Contraindication massage during pregnancy;

If mental illness cannot cooperate, it is best not to massage;

Patients with serious heart, brain and lung diseases; Blood patients with bleeding tendency;

Patients with bone diseases such as bone and joint tuberculosis, osteomyelitis and senile osteoporosis;

Patients with acute spinal cord injury with myelitis symptoms and unclear diagnosis;

Patients with cervical spondylotic myelopathy or disc herniation with neurological symptoms;

Patients with chronic diseases, especially cancer.

Massage, massage, the more painful the better?

Many people grin when doing massage, which is very painful. Some people even think that pain is not enough. In fact, massage has four basic requirements, uniform, soft, powerful and continuous. The softness is very important. So massage is not as painful as possible. How long does the massage last?
