Why are the hot springs in Yellowstone National Park called Old Faithful Geysers?
Located in the Rocky Mountains, Yellowstone National Park is the earliest established national park in the world. The park is densely forested, which is not only a protected area for American wild animals such as bison, bighorn deer, black bear and elk, but also the place with the most concentrated geysers, hot springs and hot pools in the world. Old faithful spring is a famous geyser in the park. When it was spraying, a few meters thick water column rose and hissed, spraying a lot of hot water at an altitude of 50 to 60 meters, and white smoke rolled like a volcano, which was very spectacular. Because it erupts every 65 minutes on average, it is very trustworthy, so it is called "old faithful spring". The hot springs in the park are made up of many large and small hot pools. The banks of red, yellow, blue, white, purple and brown reflect each other and form colorful patterns. The hot water in the pool falls from a height, forming countless waterfalls.
