Brief introduction of Minsheng think tank
China Minsheng Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) was first established in 1992, and it is one of the earliest institutions to study market economy in China. The seminar was jointly sponsored by agricultural experts Du Runsheng and Wu Xiang, economic and financial theory experts Yu Guangyuan, Wang Jue, Xiao Zhuoji, He Wei, Zhou, Huang, Li Chengxun, scientific and social experts Zhu Houze and Wu Mingyu, and reform experts Gao Shangquan and Yang Qixian. It undertakes the research on major theoretical and practical issues of China's economic system reform, and is the development research of the State Council. The research institute brings together authoritative experts and government resources in various fields, and has carried out many fruitful research and consulting work for national and local party and government organs.
In order to implement the opinions of the Central Office and the State Council on strengthening the construction of a new type of think tank with China characteristics, the leaders of the Academy decided to set up a think tank for people's livelihood on the basis of China Minsheng Research Institute, with the goal of building a "professional high-end think tank".
2065438+On April 6, 2006, Minsheng Think Tank was formally established, with Guo, director of the Economic Policy Research Center of China Academy of Social Sciences as the chairman.
