Civet cats are also called civet cats, white-nosed civet cats and white-fronted civet cats. Their backs and limbs are grayish brown, and their heads are grayish black with white spots. Civet cats mainly live in forests, bushes, caves, tree holes or earth holes and are active at night. They are good at climbing trees and often feed on trees. Civet cats mainly feed on wild fruits and grains, but also eat branches and leaves, eggs, frogs, mice and insects.
Civet cats are national second-class protected animals.
