I read a health book today. What does this book mean by "keeping healthy"? Or what medicine?
After bidding farewell to food and clothing, keeping in good health is the universal pursuit of China people. The theory of "health preservation" has existed since ancient times, but it was "swept out of the house" as an "alternative" in the "extreme left" era. The so-called health preservation, also known as health preservation, is a way to maintain the body and prolong life. The ancients accumulated a lot of experience in this respect. For example, "Guanzi Situation Solution" said: "When you are alive, you should be frugal, and the cold and summer are suitable, which is good for your health and prolongs your life"; "Zhuangzi Sheng Da" says: "Those who are afraid of others are also at dinner, and those who don't know how to quit are also in danger"; "The Warring States Policy Qice IV" says: "Eating late is meat, being safe is a car, and innocence is precious"; "Xunzi Cultivation" said: "Yan 'an's blood is not lazy, but its appearance is not withered when it is tired", and so on. The theories of these sages are scientific and tested by thousands of years of practice, which can be called classics. Health is important, but moral cultivation is better than health. A person who only pays attention to health care and ignores morality cannot achieve health care. This is because people's life span is closely related to virtue, so more than 2,000 years ago, Confucius put forward the views that "benevolent people live long" and "great virtue leads to longevity". Sun Simiao, a famous doctor in the Tang Dynasty, also said, "Prepare a hundred lines every week. Although there is no bait, it is enough for leisure for several years; Virtue is not gram, longitudinal service jade liquid will not be able to prolong life. " In Ming Dynasty, Gong Tingxian said in Shou Shi Bao Yuan: "Accumulate good deeds, keep good deeds, and prolong life." In view of the Confucian way of self-cultivation, keeping the family in order, governing the country and leveling the world, Lao Tzu put forward the "three treasures" and said: "I have three treasures, and I will stick to them: one is kindness, the other is thrift, and the third is not daring to be the first in the world, so I can be good." This statement and Confucius's "different people have different opinions" have "highly unified" the cultivation of health and morality. Modern people have also summed up the "three treasures" of health and morality: eating, sleeping and laughing. This ostensibly refers to a person's physical condition and external image, but actually reflects his spiritual temperament and inner world. Its preciousness lies in that it perfectly combines the concept of "long life for the benevolent". Ji Xianlin, a famous scholar with the reputation of "the master among the common people, the common people among the masters", once praised Zhang Zhongxing, a literary master, as "indifferent and quiet, not greedy for splendor, unpretentious, and sincere in treating others". Isn't he such a "master" who talks big and keeps his words in line with his deeds? Ji Lao said, "Only those who can restrain their own nature for the country, the people and others are moral people". He did this, so like Zhang Zhongxing, he can enjoy his old age and make great achievements. It is difficult for people who are greedy for fame and fortune and have other thoughts to reach this level. Think about it, those former "dignitaries" who once gave orders and pampered themselves are now brought to justice. Are they all "hard-handed" in terms of health and morality?
