Chen Zhongzi was a famous thinker and hermit in the Warring States period. Shandong Zouping. Chen Zhongzi resigned and lived in seclusion in Changbai Mountain. He irrigated the garden all day long to show that he was "away from the court and eating in troubled times" and eventually starved to death. Tao Yuanming, a famous poet, wrote a poem of praise: "Come to Yu Ling with high spirits." I am ashamed of him, but I am willing to water the garden. "Chen Ding, whose real name is Zhong, is a famous thinker and hermit of Qi. Its ancestor was Chen Guogong, and the ancestor Chen Gongzi fled to Qi after the war and changed to Tian, so Chen Zhongzi was also called Tian Zhong.
Chen Zhongzi opposed arrogance and extravagance, advocated honesty and self-discipline, rectified social atmosphere and purified society. His thoughts had a great influence, and the King of Qi invited him to give lectures in Gong Xue, Xia Ji. His theory is sui generis, which is called "Yuling School".
