How to paste fresh corn?
Mashed and steamed corn is sweet and delicious, more fragrant, simple and convenient, automatic and fast.

It's another corn season. Fresh and tender corn is on the market in large quantities, and the price is cheap. Every household has to steam tortillas (we call them baoguba here), which is a very simple food. It's super simple, convenient and automatic. I made it myself, and it smells better than what I bought outside. The materials needed to make tortillas are: soil corn, corn leaves, sugar, a little aluminum-free baking powder and a proper amount of milk powder. Note: Choose ordinary corn (soil corn) that farmers choose to sell, and don't choose fruit corn and waxy corn. Fruit corn has too much water, and waxy corn is not delicious. Remember to decorate corn leaves and take them home when you buy corn; No baking powder and milk powder. The milk powder in the picture is my mother's old milk powder. I thought about it when I did it later. Bao er and I wanted to eat, so we didn't add it (please forgive me). It was more authentic when steamed.

Wash and drain corn leaves; After washing the corn, as shown in the figure: from top to bottom, cut the corn horizontally into two pieces, then cut it vertically into two pieces, and then peel off the corn grains along the edge. If you think it's so troublesome, you can just cut off the corn kernels with a knife ~

Put the peeled corn kernels into a cooking machine and beat them into a paste. If the cooking machine doesn't work, you can add less water, but don't add too much water, because the smooth corn will produce juice. I beat a small part of the corn with a little water first, then beat it into paste, and then add the rest of the corn several times to continue beating, so you don't have to add water every time, and there won't be too much water. Of course, it would be best if all the corn could be harvested at once without adding water.

After beating, pour out the paste, add appropriate amount of sugar according to personal taste, and add less milk powder and baking powder at home (you don't need to add it, just mix it evenly.

Scoop the corn paste into the corn leaves, only to the middle part of the corn leaves, because once it is spread flat, it will slowly flow to both sides.

Steam in a steamer for 5 minutes. I set the plate for taking pictures. In fact, what I usually do is to boil the water in the pot, put a steamer on it, and put corn paste in the corn leaves while putting the steamer. When the steamer is full and the water is boiling, cover it, steam for 5 minutes, remove the lid and let it dry for a while. Remember to put it next to it when you put it.

Take it out after steaming and let it cool slightly. The freshly steamed corn bran is wet and soft, so it will be fine after a while. It is best when it is warm. The steamed color is much yellow, and no pigment is added! I don't know what to sell outside ~

This paste is steamed, and the corn flavor is stronger, original, fragrant and delicious. I ate three at a time ... my little husband ate one and a half, and I was very happy. The guy who refuses to eat coarse grains is full of praise for corn cakes ~

The taste is not rigid, it feels a little elastic, and I like it very much. I made two pots, which my mother packed and took away except what I ate ... It can be used as breakfast, when I am a little hungry, it can also be used as a snack. It is really delicious. Dear friends, let's begin. Eat corn in another way and eat more coarse grains.
