Mandatory labeling includes four aspects.
The national food safety standard "General Rules for Labeling in prepackaged foods" (GB 7718-2011) stipulates that the content of compulsory labeling includes four aspects, of which the first one is the most basic requirement, and the last three are "conditional" compulsory clauses when compulsory labeling is needed under certain circumstances.
1, indicating the content values of energy and core nutrients and their percentage in nutrient reference values (NRV).
2. When making nutritional claims or functional claims for other nutrients except energy and core nutrients, the content of nutrients and their percentage in nutrient reference values (NRV) should also be indicated in the nutrient composition table.
3. In addition to the requirement of 4. 1, the content of fortified food and its percentage in nutrient reference values (NRV) should also be indicated in the nutrient composition table of prepackaged foods.
4. When food raw materials contain or use hydrogenated and/or partially hydrogenated oils and fats in the production process, the trans-fat (acid) content should also be marked in the nutrient composition table.
