Acupuncture and Tuina is one of the most distinctive specialties in Hunan University of Medicine, with a school history of 18 years, including 5 years of acupuncture and tuina education in secondary school and 15 years of acupuncture and tuina education in junior college. This major trains all-round medical talents who can combine traditional Chinese and western medicine, acupuncture and massage to prevent and treat diseases.

Our department is deputy secretary-general of sub-health branch of Chinese Medicine Association, deputy secretary-general of education research branch of Chinese Ethnic Medicine Association, executive director of Hunan Acupuncture Association, deputy director of massage professional committee of Hunan Chinese Medicine Association, sub-health clinical demonstration unit of Chinese Medicine Association and sub-health clinical training center of Chinese Medicine Association.

Acupuncture and massage is a new discipline, which belongs to the way of keeping in good health and treating diseases. Acupuncture is different from moxibustion.
